Certification
of a single product
– analysis of the application;
– identification of the sample;
– conducting certification tests;
– evaluation of test results;
– decision-making on the issuance of a certificate of conformity;
– conclusion of an agreement on the right to use the certificate of conformity and issuance of the certificate.
The issued certificate of conformity confirms the manufacturer’s compliance with the product requirements specified in the regulatory and legal documents of Ukraine.
Surveillance is not provided.
Certification
of a product batch
This certification scheme includes:
– analysis of the application;
– – selection and identification of samples;
– determination of product characteristics through testing or evaluation;
– evaluation of test results;
– decision-making on the issuance of a certificate of conformity;
– issuance of the certificate of conformity.
The certificate of conformity is issued for a term determined by the certification body, but not exceeding one year.
The size and other identification characteristics of the batch are specified by the applicant in the certification application and documented accordingly.
Certification testing is conducted on samples selected from the batch in the manner and quantity determined by the certification body, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory and legal documents.
Surveillance is not provided.
Certification of products manufactured in series, without inspection of production
This certification scheme includes the following procedures:
– analysis of the application;
– selection and identification of samples;
– determination of product characteristics through testing or evaluation;
– analysis of product documentation;
– decision-making on the issuance of a certificate of conformity;
– issuance of the certificate of conformity;
– conclusion of an agreement between the certification body and the applicant on the right to use the certificate of conformity;
– supervision.
The period of validity of the certificate of conformity issued under this scheme shall not exceed one year.
Surveillance is carried out by means of control tests on samples of certified products taken from production or from the supplier at a frequency specified in the surveillance programme, but not less than once a year.
The certificate of conformity for the next period is issued on the basis of the results of the analysis:
– documents and results of the certification tests of the product;
– information provided by the applicant to the certification body regarding complaints received about the certified product and the measures taken in response;
– a statement from the manufacturer confirming that the production technology has not been changed;
– the manufacturer’s agreement to continue complying with the conditions of product certification in the future.
Note 1. This scheme is applicable only to products manufactured serially by a specific manufacturer and ensures, based on the analysis of the documentation provided by the applicant, that the enterprise is capable of consistently producing products that comply with the requirements of regulatory and legal documents during the validity period of the certificate of conformity.
Note 2. This certification scheme can also be applied at the stage of product introduction into production.
Certification of products manufactured in series, with production inspection
– analysis of the application;
– selection and identification of samples;
– determination of product characteristics through testing or evaluation;
– inspection of product manufacturing;
– decision-making on the issuance of a certificate of conformity;
– conclusion of an agreement between the certification body and the applicant on the right to use the certificate of conformity;
– issuance of the certificate of conformity;
– surveillance.
The period of validity of the certificate of conformity issued under this scheme shall not exceed two years.
Surveillance shall be carried out by means of production inspection or analysis of documentation, and control testing of product samples selected from production or from the supplier, in the manner, at the intervals and in the quantities specified by the certification body.
