CERTIFICATION <\/strong>
OF DEFENCE PRODUCTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The State Scientific Research Institute for Armament and Military Equipment Testing and Certification carries out activities related to the certification of defense products<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 18, 2017, No. 786, and for the purpose of fulfilling the functions of implementing state policy in the field of testing and conformity assessment (certification) of defense products in the interests of the Armed Forces and other military formations of the defense forces of Ukraine, the State Scientific Research Institute for Armament and Military Equipment Testing and Certification (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) was established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Institute is an expert institution and a leader in scientific research and technical advancements in the field of armament, military, and specialized equipment. Its mission is focused on ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability of military technologies, as well as conducting testing and certification of defense products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Certification Body of the State Scientific Research Institute for Armament and Military Equipment Testing and Certification (hereinafter referred to as the Certification Body of the Institute) conducts voluntary certification, i.e., third-party conformity assessment of defense products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Voluntary certification<\/strong> \u2013 refers to a voluntary conformity assessment carried out on a non-mandatory basis, including testing, conformity declaration, certification, inspection, and determination of compliance with the stated requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voluntary certification allows for the confirmation of the quality and safety of products, as well as the determination of their compliance with regulatory and legal documents of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most EU countries use certification procedures to confirm the quality of their products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Certification Body of the Institute complies with the standards of DSTU EN ISO\/IEC 17065:2019 “Conformity assessment \u2013 Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes, and services”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the purpose of ensuring high-quality implementation of the certification procedure for defense products, the Institute has developed a quality management system in accordance with the requirements of DSTU ISO 9001:2015 (ISO 9001:2015, IDT) “Quality Management Systems. Requirements” and DSTU EN ISO\/IEC 17065:2019 (EN ISO\/IEC 17065:2012, IDT; ISO\/IEC 17065:2012, IDT) “Conformity assessment \u2013 Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes, and services”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine certified the competence of the Certification Body of State Scientific Research Institute of Armament and Military Equipment Testing and Certification according to the requirements of State Standard of Ukraine DSTU EN ISO\/IEC 17065:2019 (EN ISO\/IEC 17065:2012, IDT; ISO\/IEC 17065:2012, IDT) in scope of the Mechanized humanitarian demining equipment and Clothing. Scope of accreditation is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

28.9 Machines and equipment, other, special purpose;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14.1 Clothing, except fur clothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certificate #1O431 from 12.02.2025. Valid until 11.02.2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certified auditors and trained personnel are engaged in conformity assessment activities. The personnel of the Certification Body of the Institute possess extensive experience in certification, high qualifications, and an impeccable reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the certification process, all necessary activities will be carried out to confirm the compliance of products with established requirements, including laboratory and field testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Institute has its own scientific and technical measurement complex that complies with the requirements of DSTU EN ISO\/IEC 17025:2019 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Institute possesses proving grounds and testing areas for the evaluation of armament, military, and specialized equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
