Date Creation: August 14, 2014 (general meeting of the labor collective of the National Defense Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine). Registered by the Chernihiv City Department of Justice on January 14, 2015 (order dated January 14, 2015 No. 1/2).

The trade union is part of the joint committee of trade union No. 1 of employees of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the trade union of employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The trade union is a voluntary, non-profit public organization that unites employees of DNDI VS OVT to protect the labor, socio-economic rights and interests of its members.

The trade union is open to all employees of the Institute who recognize its Charter.

The trade union carries out its activities on the basis of the Constitution, the Law of Ukraine “On Trade Unions, Their Rights and Guarantees of Activity”, other legislative acts of Ukraine, the General Declaration of Human Rights, the principles of the international trade union movement by widely involving its members in joint actions to solve socio-economic problems, development of their activity, initiative and self-activity, transparency, observance of trade union democracy, principles of collective leadership.

In order to consolidate efforts to protect the legal rights and interests of workers, the trade union of employees of DNDI VS OVT may unite on contractual basis with other trade unions.

It can cooperate with trade union organizations of other countries, join international trade union associations, organizations under the condition of preserving its independence. Performs other functions that correspond to the purpose and tasks of the trade union and do not contradict the legislation.

The mass trade union has full organizational and financial independence, is independent of state and economic bodies, military command, political and public organizations, is not accountable to them and is not under their control. Interaction with them is based on the principles of social partnership, mutual respect and interests of workers, cooperation and consolidation of actions to assist in solving the defense tasks of the State.

Each member of the trade union is guaranteed:

Representation and protection of his rights and legitimate interests by trade union bodies in state bodies, local self-government bodies, economic bodies and public organizations.
Ensuring the protection of the right to work, fair and timely remuneration.
Free legal assistance on issues of Ukrainian legislation, labor law, housing law.

A trade union member has the right to:

To receive financial assistance from the trade union, travel tickets for yourself and your family members, as well as information about the activities of trade union bodies and their financial capabilities in solving the social, household, industrial and professional problems of their members.
Contact the trade union bodies with questions, statements, proposals and insist on receiving substantive answers.
To personally participate in meetings of trade union bodies, when an issue that directly affects his interests is discussed.
Freely discuss all issues of the life and activities of the trade union and its governing bodies at trade union meetings, meetings of trade union bodies and in the press.
Defend your point of view before making a collective decision.
To elect and be elected (delegated) to trade union bodies, to trade union conferences and congresses.
Take part in trade union actions.
